Nicolle Castro, LICSW
Nicolle Castro is a bi-lingual Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) in Washington D.C. with a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She has worked in mental health for 11 years, and has experience in community support and outreach, crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and therapy in both the outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings.
Nicolle has worked with a diverse population specifically Women of Color and LGBTQIA+ population addressing a variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, mood and personality disorders, trauma, adjustment challenges, and substance abuse. She offers support and healing to individuals ages 21 and over, couples, and groups. Her approach is holistic, eclectic, and collaborative; and employs therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered, and Solution Focused Therapy.
