Natalie Nichols, LPC, NCC
Hi, I’m Natalie. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Washington, D.C., and a National Board Certified Counselor with more than fifteen years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges. My background in developmental disabilities, supported employment, housing and homelessness services, and outpatient mental health has taught me how complex people’s stories can be, and how essential it is to feel truly seen in therapy.
I take a person-centered and direct, solution-focused approach, meaning I meet you exactly where you are while also helping you identify practical steps that move you toward clarity and relief. Clients often describe my style as grounded, collaborative, and straightforward in a way that makes the work feel both safe and productive.
I tailor my methods to what you need most in the moment, whether you’re navigating stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship concerns, or major transitions. My goal is to create a space where you can explore openly, gain insight, and build strategies that support your wellbeing in everyday life.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is compassionate, honest, and committed to helping you make meaningful change, I would be honored to work with you.
