Kiona Bean, LPC
Kiona Bean, LPC, is a native Washingtonian with 13 years of social services experience. She holds a Master's degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she earned an Master's in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Counseling. Kiona has worked with individuals of all ages and enjoys seeing positive changes in the emotional wellness and behavioral needs of everyone that she works with. She has worked in a variety of treatment environments and focuses the rapport-building process to foster a healthy and trusting working relationship with her clients.
Many of the sessions focus on psychoeducation, and interventions towards improving thinking habits and behaviors, in addition to practicing coping skills so clients can manage their emotional wellness needs.
Kiona's mantra is "It doesn't matter who you were 20 years ago or yesterday. You still have today and tomorrow to become the best version of yourself".
