Kimberly Crooks, LGSW
Hi, I am Kimberly. I am a therapist who believes healing begins when you feel understood and supported, not judged or rushed. My work is shaped by my background as both a teacher and a clinician, and I draw from those experiences to create a space where clients can explore their story with honesty and curiosity.
I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, substance use, and major life transitions. My approach is holistic, trauma informed, and culturally responsive. I want you to feel safe bringing all parts of yourself into the room, including the parts you are still trying to understand.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the classroom, which taught me how development, environment, and family systems shape how we cope and connect. That insight continues to guide how I show up with clients today.
In our work, I use CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed practices to help you make sense of your experiences and build the skills needed to move forward with clarity and confidence. My goal is to walk alongside you as you reclaim your narrative and grow into a version of yourself that feels grounded and empowered.
If you’re ready to understand yourself more clearly and build tools that genuinely support your wellbeing, I’m here to walk that process with you in a steady, thoughtful way.
