Dina Maalouf, LCSW
Dina Maalouf is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC and received her Masters in Social Work from Catholic University of America. Dina has been working in Mental Health for 10 years, and previously worked at the suicide hotline of Montgomery County, and worked with chronic mental health diagnosis’s, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorders, as well as anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation.
Dina has been working as a private practice therapist for over five years and enjoys building relationships with her clients and earning their trust through the therapeutic process. Dina believes that the therapeutic space should feel safe and comfortable so that the client can come into the space without fear of judgement.
Dina has a special interest in working with those who suffer from anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment disorders, LGBTQ+ community, life transitions, eating disorders, self esteem and confidence. As a Palestinian/Arab American, Dina also brings a level of cultural sensitivity and understanding to help put clients feel heard when discussing different cultural backgrounds. Dina uses a mix of DBT, CBT and psychodynamic techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
