Alyssa Lane, LPC
Alyssa Lane is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington, DC. She received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University’s School of Medicine. She is trained in CBT-I, Suicidality Prevention and Intervention and Level I - Gottman Marriage and Family. Alyssa has also earned the Counseling Certificate of Distinction in Psychological First Aid by Johns Hopkins University.
Alyssa works with a diverse adult population (ages 18+) on a variety of issues including: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use, trauma, relationship issues and medical conditions. She has worked with clients on both an individual and group basis using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered and Solution Focused Therapy.
She believes in creating a collaborative therapeutic environment to help individuals feel comfortable and respected, while working towards resolving conflicts and achieving their desired goals.
