Ziara Battle, LGSW

Ziara Battle is a Washington D.C. native. She is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) in Washington, D.C., and Maryland. She received her master’s degree in social work from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Through her work in school-based and outpatient settings, she has gained experience serving as an educator for the District of Columbia Public Schools educating students, specifically those with autism and other learning differences. 

Ziara services children, youth and adolescents, and young adults. Her areas of interest include educational concerns, anxiety, stress, and life transitions affecting self-care and quality of life.


She utilizes a whole child and person-centered approach when providing therapeutic services. Her outlook on therapy is that all people are different, and their care should be individualized to their needs. Ziara uses therapeutic relationships with clients to create a trusting and safe space where clients can explore thoughts and feelings.
