Ladonna Winnegan, LGSW, LMSW

Ladonna Winnegan is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) in Washington, D.C. and a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Maryland. Ladonna earned her Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and has a strong background in nonprofit outpatient clinics, schools, and private practice settings working with children, adolescents, families, and adults addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. 


Ladonna is a compassionate and dedicated therapist specializing in working with all ages and expertise in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, stress, and life transitions. Ladonna is committed to helping clients navigate their unique challenges utilizing a holistic approach and blending evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy. Ladonna has specialized training in Trauma-Focused CBT and Prolonged Grief Disorder Treatment. 


Ladonna focuses on providing a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions and experiences. She takes a strength-based, person-centered approach, believing in the power of collaboration and empowerment in the therapeutic process.
